bob_bop_perano True Faith are on a trajectory for greatness. With this album they take a more rock approach by utilizing live drums and focus more on the guitars and it works perfectly. This is an excellent album for any fans of postpunk that fuses aggression and emotion.

Lamont Jackson Great album. I'm a metal guy. Extreme metal. However, sometimes it's nice to not get yelled at. When the break is needed, this is exactly what I need. I'm curious, is the cover the same windmill on fire that those two poor young men got trapped on and died? Anyway, great album. Favorite track: The Passion.

Moral Hazard 06:26
Give me something to want Or I’m walking away All I want is trust And a reason to stay Another piece of time That I’m throwing away Not a weight to feel Every single day Take this from me I don’t want it anymore And keep the pieces From falling on the floor Give me purpose That I can’t ignore Til it resembles What it was before
2.
A Reason 04:29
Try to find a reason My mind is always down I bear this weight All we can believe in Over before it starts it’s all too late Looking for a reason It’s not for me It’s not for me The more I think about it It’s not for me It’s not for me Put it all together I’m always lost and found This is our fate Everything’s a problem A thought to take apart Determined to negate Looking for a reason It’s not for me It’s not for me The more I think about it It’s not for me It’s not for me Looking for a reason It’s not for me It’s not for me The more I think about it It’s not for me It’s not for me It’s the cost we weigh Remittance that we all pay And I can feel it break A testament to what we take It's not for me
3.
Good enough to find Does it feel like home? Wouldn’t have to waste all this time If its good enough to find Does it feel like now? Pretend we found the time Would it be like now? Could we go back and try to find A way to pass the time So it feels like now What does it feel like now Put it all behind Does it feel so gone? Falling down a dozen times Just to find what’s mine Just to feel like now What does it feel like now I feel it coming down on me
4.
I knew the price But I wanted more No life to live When your back’s to the wall The things I gave They seem so far Took the risk But I wanted more I Wanted More I knew the cost But I wanted more There is no virtue When it takes its toll The vice we feed on That binds us all Took the risk But I wanted more I Wanted More
5.
Started with a cry to the world A burden on this path to unfold Betrayed by our bodies A struggle for a breath to withhold Take comfort to ease the suffering Another in the line for the cull A promise of an end to it all Kept from a good death A futile attempt to even the score Take comfort to ease the suffering
6.
The Passion 03:39
Keep hope alive for the hopeless dream Remember when you wanted everything The ideal image that you strive to be Was Just a facade of what you thought you’d see The passion lasts a lifetime now But the devotion often fades The passion lasts a lifetime now Even though a shell remains Keep faith alive for the faithless dream Remember when you wanted the real thing They force it out of you at every chance A line of decisions that we all regret The passion lasts a lifetime But the devotion often fades The passion lasts a lifetime Even though a shell remains
7.
Something 04:10
When its all so far away Will it fall When its all so far away Will it hold Why not tell me Tell me something
8.
Gestalt 03:46
Expectations will never be the same consequences of our actions still remain Accept the fault that you thought you’d never see These situations always come right down to me Haven’t you had enough? Treading water just to be in second place Take concessions on beliefs we can’t replace A violation of the things we’d never tell That can shape the narrative just as well Haven’t you had enough?
9.
Hornace 04:35
What we wanted On full display Lives built on second chances That slip away And the air we breathe Forced down to depths beneath Coerced for what we need Above it all Apply the force To desquamate See the end From below Remove the source To palliate Left to fend All alone What we wanted Here for the take Kept from competing interests We mitigate And the air we breathe Forced up from depths beneath Coerced for what we seek Above it all Apply the force To desquamate See the end From below Remove the source To palliate Left to fend All alone And it feels like we’re left all alone
